One Team Basketball Organization

About One Team Basketball

One Team Basketball is a non-profit 501c (3) Elite Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), and NCAA Certified Basketball Organization for boys in Puyallup, Graham, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Tacoma, University Place, Gig Harbor, and surrounding counties of Washington. One team is an NCAA Certified organization. We are affiliated with AAU because it means membership in an organization that is nationally recognized for its position in amateur sports. Membership has its privilege and that privilege demands unyielding dedication on the part of the coaches, athletes and families.

The goal of One Team Basketball is to provide student athletes the opportunity to reach their true playing potential by providing players with a positive, fun and competitive experience. One Team Basketball offers teams from 11U to 17U.

The One Team Basketball program provides an experienced staff of Coaches who will encourage mental, emotional and physical growth through the game of basketball. One Team Basketball seeks to promote health and fitness, improve athletic skills, provide valuable social exposure and offer practical experiences in teamwork, sportsmanship, diversity and leadership. Our youth are exemplary athletes who strive for both academic and athletic excellence.

Practice consists of drills to improve basketball fundamentals; ball handling, passing, shooting and individual and team defense. Practices are tough and designed to be harder than games. Players in the One Team Basketball program will not only learn basketball fundamentals, but life lessons that come along with the game as well.
